To log on to Learning Center computers, you need your MBU ID and password. The password and ID are the same as your Canvas and myMBU account.

Summer Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Midterms week, Finals week, and the week before Finals the Learning Center will be open until midnight.

How do I renew my items?

To renew items you have checked out:

  1. Go to MBU Catalog
  2. Login in with your First & last name, and MBU ID + MBU (Ex. 123456MBU
  3. Click the box under Renew for the items you wish to renew
  4. Click Renew Marked

How do I access databases off campus?

To access MBU databases off campus, you will need to sign in using your first and last name on the first line, followed by your student ID # and institution code on the second line. Ex. John Smith , 123456MBU

What does 'peer-reviewed sources' mean and where can I find them?

Peer-reviewed, also known as scholarly, sources are those that have been reviewed by scholars from the same field of study as the author. This ensures that the source is verified to be of scholarly quality. 

The easiest way to find peer-reviewed sources is to use one of the many databases MBU offers. Many databases will offer a 'peer-reviewed' limiter that will limit your results to only peer-reviewed sources; this limiter, and many others, can be found in the right or left column of your search results page.
